Refunds and Returns Overview

Our refund and returns policy on physical items from the Maidenfolk shop lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:


    • Gift cards
    • Downloadable software products
    • Memberships (see Membership Policies below)


To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:


    • Book with obvious signs of use
    • CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
    • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
    • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery




Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded unless otherwise specified.



We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at and we will send further information for your exchange.



If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.


Shipping returns

To return your product, send us an email at and we will send further information for your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.


Membership Policies


Membership Cancellation Policy

A Maidenfolk member is eligible to cancel the monthly membership and the annual membership at any time. A Maidenfolk member who chooses to cancel will have access only for the months purchased and their membership will not renew after that designated time period.

Members may cancel their membership on the Accounts page.


Membership Refund Policy

All membership purchases final sale and refunds are not provided for previous months regardless of whether the member has logged in to view the content. Maidenfolk maintains the right to refuse refund at any time or provide the option to take Maidenfolk store credit to be used on future purchases.

The Maidenfolk website may experience downtime. Maidenfolk will always work to resolve these outages as quickly as possible. No refunds will be provided with temporary access issues or downtime with the site.


Membership Billing Policy

Our billing system is automated and we do not have the ability to freeze or skip payments or adjust the billing cycle for any of our members. Upon signup Maidenfolk members will be billed automatically on the first day of every month for the monthly membership and on the first day of the first month purchased every year for the annual membership.

If you are a Maidenfolk member and have a failed payment, the system will retry the charge 3 days later, 7 days later, and 14 days later. If your payment fails on the 14th day your plan will be cancelled and access will end.

Feel free to reach out to if you are unsure why your payment has failed and they can provide you with the reason code. Some common reasons are insufficient funds, expired or invalid (closed/old) card number, or a ‘do not honor’ block from your financial due to suspected fraud or other stipulations regarding reoccurring charges and your specific type of checking account or line of credit. You can also reach out to your financial for more info as to why the transaction did not go through.

Membership Plan Extension Policy

There is no need to extend or add access time to any Maidenfolk memberships because all plans are set to automatically renew. If a member would like to cancel their membership, this can be done at anytime. Please refer to our Membership Cancellation Policy.

Membership Content Privacy Policy

All purchases of Maidenfolk membership content or any other paid content is meant to only be viewed by the purchaser and cannot be shared with others. Sharing of login credentials is strictly prohibited and as a company we track IP addresses, login history & location, and profile history for suspected breaches of this policy. All purchased content including written, video, & audio is only available to view by logging in with your registered account credentials and cannot be copied or downloaded to a personal device for viewing or listening offline.

Upon purchase all customers acknowledge that they have denied the right to facilitate the use of the workshop material in private one-to-one sessions, either professionally or personally, with clients or others, for monetary gain or otherwise.

Additionally, purchasers agree not to teach the workshop content to others in any way, to groups or individuals, professionally or otherwise, for monetary gain or otherwise. Purchasers further agree not to post any text or video presentations of Maidenfolk material, or demonstrations on the internet, or other electronic media.

Violations of this policy are considered unlawful and Maidenfolk reserves the right to take legal action in cases of misconduct.
